The backstory

So the Marketing half of our dynamic duo, Tara, was a Realtor in Clearwater, FL for about two years in the mid 2000′s. She had seen how much money the agents in Florida were making at the time and thought, “well that would be fun and easy”. Right!

The funny thing is going into it she thought for sure she would be a buyer’s agent because she had mad skills at marketing and the computer and figured she could prospect easily for buyers on the internet. Come to find out, she only worked with 4 buyers total…one bought a house with assistance, a couple just flailed around maybe buying one house and the last one was a million dollar buyer that took almost a year to close (her partner at the time was instrumental in getting it over the line!)

After just a couple of months, Tara figured out that listings where WAY more fun. You could have a semi-normal life, you didn’t have to let anyone in your car and it was more business-like and less emotional (the whole, “it just doesn’t feeeeeel right” thing with buyers almost killed her!)

That said, she did not go about much like the other agents. Her listing presentation was NOT full of stuff that talked about her, instead it was FULL of the marketing tactics that she would be using and compelling arguements for why the seller should price right and pay a fair commission.

Fast forward until today, Tara and Rebekah spend a fair amount of their speaking time working with real estate agents. Their marketing tips and tricks are a breath of fresh air for most of the Realtors they talk to, but this AMAZING listing system just did not fit into the speaking schedule.

With that in mind, they sat down, polished it up and now it is a book that you can buy, showing the exact listing presentation as well as the words that were used to get the best results.
